With the ability to capture voice, video, and student interactions on a screen, screencasting can be a powerful tool for making student thinking visible and creating an opportunity for collaboration between students using multimedia. Using the power of Google Chrome extensions, Google Drive, YouTube, and more, this session will explore strategies for incorporating screencasts across the curriculum to strengthen understanding and empower student learning.
Please note: this session will explore screencasting on a Chromebook or computer with Google Chrome.  If you want to follow along and try it as demonstrated, please install the Google Chrome Extension, Screencastify.  It will be a web-based.
