Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

At Pine Crest, it is our goal that our youngest students develop fundamental computer program concepts through plugged and unplugged activities. Students are introduced to electronic components, applications, and "tech toys". Students gain an understanding of algorithmic thinking through collaborative programming work. They learn the basic concepts of coding, debugging, and conditionals. Students also gain an understanding of some of the societal impacts of computing as well explore the basics of robotics. Join this session to see how classes are structured, taught, and which learning tools are used. The presentation will include some lecture, tech toy demos, and time for questions and answers. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/12FpRy_Qh0iMQuT_TzvOvoaxZEFbyzcz04oIa1tupyow
